Increase font or display size in desktop


To increase the font size in desktop or overall display size, follow the following instructions.

  1. Start Menu

  2. Search "Font" and option "Make text size bigger" should appear.


  1. Option "Make text size bigger"

  1. It should then open "Display" window

There are two settings: "Make Text Bigger" or "Make Everything Bigger".


Make Text Bigger (to enlarge the font size in desktop)

Adjust on the scale to right to enlarge the text size. Click on apply once satisfied with the size.

Make Everything Bigger (applies to all fonts, applications icons and view of applications etc.).

  1. Select on the drop down where it states "100% (Recommended)" to 125% (this should be fine).

  2. This will adjust the size of apps and text on main display (although you may need to close and reopen some applications if changes not made).
