File Director - search Control Box missing

  1. To recover search Control Box, click on File Director icon on top left which will present a drop down menu.
  2. Then select option Options

  1. General settings window should open.
  2. Click on Layout tab, set Icon style to 3D colour icons & tick Expert mode and click on Ok.
  3. It will ask to restart File Director application. Click on Yes to restart.

  1. Resign to File Director.
  2. There will be lot more options visible under Start in menu bar.
  3. Look for Short lists (left) in the menu bar and click on the option (screenshot below).
  4. Search Control Box should now be reinstated.
